Our Approach to Healing (Modalities)
Every individual’s path to healing is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all way to grow and connect to the truest version of yourself.
That’s why we offer a variety of therapeutic approaches, each designed to meet different needs and stages of life. Whether you are a child, teen, adult, couple or family these modalities provide tools and experiences that help you process, heal, and move forward with greater confidence and peace.
Exploring different approaches together allows us to create a treatment plan that feels personal, flexible, and effective—supporting you (or your child) on the journey toward healing and wholeness.
Anxiety
Anxiety often writes its story in anticipation—in the imagined outcome, the feared mistake, the possibility of rejection, failure, separation, or loss. It can make the world feel smaller, relationships feel uncertain, and ordinary moments feel charged with danger. For children, anxiety may speak through tears, stomachaches, avoidance, or meltdowns. For teens, it may hide behind perfectionism, withdrawal, irritability, or fear of judgment. For adults, it may live as chronic worry, tension, over-responsibility, or the constant sense of being “on alert.”
Depression
Depression can feel like the dimming of the inner world. What once brought joy may feel distant. Motivation may disappear. Relationships may feel difficult to reach for. Even the simplest tasks can begin to feel heavy.
Trauma
Trauma is stored deeply within, and unless we choose the pathway of acceptance and courage, the trauma will dictate our relationships, our moods and even our thoughts, affecting not only ourselves, but those that are closest to us.
AD/HD
AD/HD can shape a person’s story in ways that are often misunderstood. What may appear as distraction, disorganization, impulsivity, or inconsistency is often the visible expression of a brain working hard to manage attention, emotion, time, motivation, and overwhelm.
Behavioral Issues
Behavior often tells a story before words are available. Defiance, arguing, refusal, emotional explosions, and power struggles may look like willful opposition on the surface, but underneath there is often frustration, fear, shame, unmet needs, or a nervous system overwhelmed by stress.
Adoption Support
Adoption is a story of relationship, commitment, and belonging—but it may also contain chapters of loss, separation, uncertainty, grief, and unanswered questions. Even when adoption is surrounded by love, adoptees may carry complex experiences related to identity, attachment, safety, loyalty, and origin.
